Group Classes age 3-6: Together, children and parents will sing dance, march and more. Pitch identification and ear training will be introduced. We'll sing along with uplifting music of varying styles, and play basic rhythms on simple instruments that you child can easily play. We will begin instrument identification through shape and sound. With a jump and a shout and a boom, we will begin to build self confidence as we explore music's relation to the many aspects of the world around us.
Group Classes age 6-10: A natural extension of the younger group class. Rhythms and melodies grow more complex as we begin learning notes and the importance of rests. Ear training will be expanded and interval identification will be introduced. Parents are invited to play and sing along if they wish.
